Welcome to our LSS group home in cozy Snättringe! We are now looking for a Support Assistant for a temporary position at 70% from September 1, 2026 through November 28, 2027. Five fantastic service users live here, and we have the privilege of supporting them in their daily lives. We are looking for you who want to be part of our team. Within Functional Support in Huddinge Municipality, you get the chance to create a meaningful everyday life for the individuals we provide support and services to. As a support assistant, you will have an important role with us. You provide support by motivating and being a role model in the daily work of the service. Five support assistants, a team leader, and a support pedagogue work at the service. Your tasks As a support assistant, you work together with colleagues to provide our service users with both pedagogical and practical support in the home. You will, among other things: Provide individually adapted daily support Perform care and household tasks that occur in a home Accompany service users on activities outside the residence. Motivate and inspire. As a support assistant, you become an important person in a setting with many collaboration partners – relatives, guardians, rehabilitation services, day activities, nurses, and rehab. Good collaboration skills and communication are therefore essential. Working Hours You work days, evenings, every other weekend, and on-call shifts according to schedule. Who are we looking for? We see that you: Master Swedish fluently in speech and writing Have computer skills and can document Have relevant education, such as nursing assistant or childcare worker Have experience with the target group Have knowledge of low-arousal interaction and can handle challenging situations Work in a structured and pedagogical manner – our service users need continuity and use AAC Are responsible, flexible, and solution-oriented Enjoy collaborating and contributing to a positive and stable team Are able to handle physically active work You will also be the contact person responsible for one service user.
