We are now seeking 1–3 support assistants We work on behalf of the purchasing unit and provide support to people with neuropsychiatric disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disabilities who live in housing with special services in Haninge municipality. Your role as a support assistant is based on the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), where the guiding principles are self-determination, influence, accessibility, participation, continuity, and a holistic approach. The goal is for each individual to receive the support they need to live as independently as possible with good quality of life. Your responsibilities Together with other team members, you work to create a meaningful and fulfilling daily life. You support and guide in areas such as personal care, meals, medication management, and cleaning in residents' homes and in the service apartments. You also assist with community contacts and create conditions for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your work also includes documentation and development of implementation plans. The service housing facility is staffed 24/7, and you will work on a schedule that includes day and evening shifts, sleeping on-call duty, and every other weekend. What we're looking for in you We actively embrace digitalization when possible—for example, we offer Wellbee to all residents. We will also have an information screen in the facility displaying daily activities and staffing. As a support assistant with us, you therefore need to be comfortable with digital systems and tools. We're looking for someone who is positive and reliable, with an approach characterized by equal worth for all. You're inspired by development and thrive in a team working to create good social interaction. You are flexible and take initiative in your work. Qualifications: You should have: Adequate education, such as nursing assistant or other pedagogical education deemed equivalent Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good computer skills and experience with IBIC Experience with visual teaching methods Experience working in LSS service housing Experience working with mental health issues We place great importance on personal suitability.
