With us, you provide support and security to people in their everyday lives. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES We are seeking a support assistant for our short-term services unit, positioned within area 2. This recruitment is for short-term positions for children with shifts scheduled for day, evening, and weekends. In this role, you work closely with youth who exhibit challenging behaviors and need present, secure, and clear adults around them. The work requires that you can handle complex and demanding situations while creating conditions for security, good relationships, and stable structure in daily life. As a support assistant, you are interested in developmental and diverse work where we create and maintain conditions for security, self-determination, quality of life, development, and joy for the individuals we support. Your role is to work supportively and motivatingly with the individual so they can handle their daily life as independently as possible. This includes using clarifying pedagogy, low-affect interactions, and alternative communication methods. The work also includes personal care, social support, and other services tailored to each individual's needs and circumstances. The work also involves documenting, developing, and following implementation plans, and contributing to a functioning and stimulating daily life for the individuals we support, as well as delegated nursing tasks such as insulin and medication administration. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: · Is trained as a nursing assistant or has completed a children and youth recreation program with a focus on pedagogy · Has experience working with youth in residential care, secure youth facilities, schools, social psychiatry, NPF diagnoses, or similar · Has good knowledge of intellectual disabilities, autism, and autism-like conditions · Has good communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing · Has knowledge of digital platforms and experience with documentation It is an advantage if you have further education focused on functional support. You have a calm and professional demeanor, manage even challenging situations with a low-affect approach, and can clearly convey boundaries and limits with care and respect. Your communication is clear and you understand the importance of relationship-building work with a pedagogical approach. You are consistent and confident in established structures and routines, have good collaboration skills, and are responsible. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
