Health and Care is responsible for elderly care in Stenungsund Municipality. The municipal primary care that is provided is team-led and regulated primarily by the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL). DUTIES As Lövberga special residence opens in May, we are now expanding our operations and need to strengthen our work team. We are therefore seeking two physiotherapists who want to contribute to good and safe care for our patients. Duties consist of standard physiotherapy tasks as well as assistive device fitting with the goal of extending the period of active and independent life for care recipients through training. You work in close collaboration with occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff, and your role includes training of care recipients, care staff, and family members in rehabilitative approaches. We also offer varied independent work with flexible working hours. Upon hire, we use mentors to guide you in our working methods. We now want to strengthen our wonderful work team and seek someone who is a licensed physiotherapist with positive energy and who enjoys being part of a team. QUALIFICATIONS You must be a licensed physiotherapist and be able to assess and coordinate the patient's overall rehabilitation needs. Since the position involves contact with many people daily, high social competence is required, along with a service-oriented approach and good interpersonal skills. It is important that you can express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing and have computer skills. You enjoy working flexibly and independently and can take your own initiative while viewing teamwork as an important part of the work. The ability to independently organize and prioritize your work is fundamental to making the right interventions at the right time. It is important that you have a genuine interest in working with care recipients in need of rehabilitation within municipal health and medical care. We place great emphasis on good collaboration skills, good interpersonal conduct, and personal suitability. A Class B driver's license is required as we frequently travel by car. Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record and valid license as a physiotherapist must be presented. The position can be filled immediately.
