Staff Officer for the Implementation Department at MSS Staff in Kvarn Would you like to be an employee at the Land Warfare School's staff implementation department in Kvarn and be part of leading and coordinating the Land Warfare School's operations? The Land Warfare School's (MSS) role is to work together with other parts of the army to create conditions for land warfare units to be able to complete their assigned tasks in the best way both nationally and internationally. MSS also performs tasks for the entire Armed Forces such as development and procurement of soldier-worn equipment, firearms and support weapons. As part of this, the Land Warfare School trains the Armed Forces' future leaders with the help of advanced training facilities and solid knowledge. The Land Warfare School is seeking a professional officer who wants to serve at MSS staff implementation department in Kvarn. The Land Warfare School is organized with a staff, development unit, training unit, exercise unit, and 1st Division's cadre staff. MSS operations are conducted both in Skövde and in Kvarn. MSS staff consists of approximately 29 employees and is divided into seven departments under the leadership of a chief of staff. The position is located at MSS staff implementation department which has personnel both in Skövde and Kvarn. At the implementation department in Skövde there is a chief, staff officer, traffic safety chief, administrator and IT chief. In Kvarn there is an operations security officer, administrator, and the vacant staff officer position. Main Responsibilities As a staff officer at the implementation department you will work both independently by leading preparations within the staff and/or in temporarily formed working groups within MSS. The work will be of varying character and scope, where a flexible approach and task adaptation is a prerequisite for achieving expected results. The position as staff officer also includes tasks to support the security department at MSS staff as assistant security chief in Kvarn and to participate in exercise leadership during exercises. Requirements · Professional officer SO7 – OF2. · Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English. · Good computer skills in the Armed Forces' IT systems. · Class B driver's license, manual transmission.
