About the Unit M4 is the Naval Staff's logistics department consisting of three sections. The logistics department is responsible for Navy logistics during operations, missions, and exercises. Furthermore, the department is responsible for capability-building logistics, particularly supplies, healthcare, and warehousing. The staff assistant is positioned at the logistics section within M4. The logistics section plans, directs, and monitors logistics in connection with naval operations, missions, and regulates logistics readiness at the naval units. The logistics section also regulates logistics directives within the Navy and participates in exercise planning. Main Responsibilities The staff assistant is part of the operational logistics unit, which is a sub-function of the logistics department within the Naval Staff. The staff assistant provides staff support primarily to the operational logistics unit with various tasks related to logistics in particular. The main task is primarily administrative in nature at the Navy's command center at the log desk but will in some cases include tasks that provide support to other parts of the logistics department. You will participate in the Naval Staff's exercises, planning, and execution of operations and missions. The staff assistant supports, participates, and works with other parts of the logistics section's tasks where readiness may be involved. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Completed military service or military basic training with good grades Good computer skills Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is responsible, thorough, and can work both independently and in a team.
