Your Workplace We are now seeking an ST-Physician for Vårdcentralen Kristinehamn, which has approximately 14,000 registered patients. About 50 people work here with a broad range of professions. Our physician group consists of six specialists, four ST-physicians, two AT-physicians, and one junior physician. We also have a well-staffed team with district and registered nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, a psychologist, administrative staff, podiatrists, and dietitians. We have excellent facilities in what was previously Kristinehamn Hospital. In the same building, you'll find a lab, radiology, outpatient rehabilitation with physical and occupational therapists, a near-care ward, a pharmacy, pediatric medicine, and public dentistry. Kristinehamn is a city with good train and bus connections, close to larger cities but also to our beautiful archipelago. Your Responsibilities As a physician with us, you will have a challenging and exciting job with good conditions for comprehensive training in the specialty. Your education will be tailored in consultation with your supervisor. You will work with common tasks such as scheduled and acute visits, serve as a consulting physician, and supervise students. The physicians at the health center have different areas of responsibility such as child health care, maternity care, and rounds at our elderly care facilities, which are part of your training. Furthermore, collaborative matters with the municipality are included. This position is a permanent employment; probation may be applied. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for you with a medical degree and a genuine interest in primary care and learning from the breadth that our mission entails. To fit the role, you are independent, responsible, thorough, and concerned with the team's wellbeing, while you can clearly communicate your own boundaries and needs. You adapt well to changing circumstances and communicate well with others. Good knowledge of Swedish is required, both spoken and written. Since work-related travel occurs, including to the municipality's special care facilities, we see that you have a B-driver's license.
