As a special education teacher at our high school, you work with pedagogy, relationship-building, and systematic student health. You are a key person who identifies students' reading and writing difficulties, plans targeted interventions, and follows up on results—always with the student at the center. About the assignment: You work individually with students who need individual support in small groups and in whole classes in close collaboration with teaching staff. You are part of the school's student health team and work closely with subject teachers, mentors, study and career counselors, and guardians to create coherent support structures around each student. Duties: Conduct pedagogical assessments and propose appropriate interventions/measures Implement interventions within the framework of special support Implement interventions at group level Establish, follow up, and revise intervention plans Participate actively in the student health team's work and contribute special education expertise Guide and consult colleagues on special education issues and accessible learning environments Collaborate with external actors such as speech therapists, habilitation services, and social services as needed Work systematically with follow-up and documentation according to the Education Act and Lgr22 We are looking for you who have: Certification and licensure as a special education teacher Qualification in social sciences and/or Swedish/English Competence in reading and writing development, or other relevant education that we consider equivalent Experience with the high school's mission is a merit. As a person, you have the ability to smoothly transition between different contexts of the assignment, which is central to this role.
