Komvux in Katrineholm Municipality plays an active role in promoting local and regional workforce development by offering flexible and individualized education based on labor market needs and the needs of community residents. Komvux offers, among other things, SFI (Swedish for Immigrants), basic and upper secondary education, adapted education for adults, vocational training, and civic orientation for certain newly arrived residents. 1 position(s). DUTIES In this role, you are responsible for planning, delivering, and following up on instruction according to applicable curriculum guidelines. You adapt teaching to students' needs, prerequisites, and goals, and document and assess their knowledge development. Teaching is characterized by a clear pedagogical approach where you use teaching tools in a purposeful and creative manner. Digital tools such as computers and iPads are a natural part of instruction and are used to support student learning and development. You work closely with colleagues in the team on planning, development, and quality improvement of the educational program. The position also includes participation in joint processes regarding admissions and scheduling, as well as active contribution to collaborative learning and pedagogical development. The role involves collaborating with students' networks, such as support persons, employers, and other external partners. You work to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment where student independence, participation, development, and practical, real-world contexts are promoted. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a special education teacher qualification in intellectual disabilities. A teaching degree with certification in language education is required for this position. It is a merit if you have documented experience working with this target group and possess high digital competency. It is also advantageous if you have experience in adult education and are skilled at using alternative and augmentative communication in daily instruction. It is desirable that you have experience monitoring and evaluating instruction and accommodations. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment.
