Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a special education teacher for the preschool class. As an educator, you will plan, implement, and adapt instruction based on the student's individual needs. You work systematically with clarifying pedagogy by using and developing alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), for example visual supports. You support the student's communication, participation, and independence in the school's various environments. Collaboration with guardians, educators, student support services, and other professionals regarding the student's development is an important part of the role. You also work with the student during time at after-school care, both before and after school hours, to create continuity and security. You have experience working with students within the autism spectrum and intellectual disabilities. You have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have experience with communication tools and AAC, for example visual supports. You are a team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues in a work team and contributing to good collaboration around student development. You are adaptable and have the ability to meet changes and different situations in a flexible way. You have good physical condition and an active approach, since the student has a great need for movement and instruction may include physical activities both indoors and outdoors. You are secure, responsible, and have a calm and non-reactive approach. You have a good ability to create structure, predictability, and secure relationships.
