There is a major focus in Leksand Municipality's school operations now and going forward on developing students' reading and writing skills, which is integrated with the current curriculum that you are well familiar with. You are responsible for the pedagogical content of instruction and work to promote student learning and development. You will work as a special education teacher at Tällberg School. You will be part of the school's student support team together with the school's counselor, school nurse, school psychologist, and principal. As a special education teacher in Leksand Municipality, you will also participate in a municipality-wide network for special educators and special teachers. Your responsibilities include collaboration with colleagues as well as communication with students, guardians, and other authorities. Together with your colleagues, you will participate in projects aimed at developing instruction and increasing student achievement. Your profile We are looking for you who are a certified special education teacher. Meritorious qualifications include previous experience as a special education teacher in primary school grades F-6 or equivalent, experience with school development assignments, experience with lead teacher roles. As a person, you are flexible and accustomed to independently planning your work, you are solution-oriented and have a good ability to view situations from a holistic perspective. You are also clear, confident, and creative and have the ability to inspire our students. You enjoy collaborating in a team and share your experiences for collegial learning that contributes to development at the individual, group, and organizational levels. About the workplace Tällberg School is an F-6 school with after-school care, beautifully located in Tällberg, approximately 1.5 miles outside central Leksand, with proximity to a rich natural and cultural life. The school has three teams - grades F-3 and grades 4-6 as well as After-school Care. Collaboration for pedagogical development is central, and the principal's area also includes Ullvi, Siljansnäs, and Gärde schools as collaboration partners to enable rich collegial learning.
