JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. You actively work to meet each student based on their circumstances and needs, with the goal of promoting knowledge development and goal achievement. Together with the work team, you contribute to developing and maintaining the school's values and knowledge perspective, where active and conscious values-based work is a natural part of daily work. You demonstrate commitment and initiative and participate in the school's systematic quality work. In this role, you contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. You work to motivate students and strengthen their willingness and ability to learn. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and ensure that documentation is conducted according to applicable requirements. QUALIFICATIONS You must have teacher certification with eligibility to teach the relevant subjects for this position. Another person with pedagogical education that the employer deems equivalent may be considered, but then for a fixed-term appointment. You have experience and competence in reading and writing development. You are a confident and engaged educator with good ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, guardians, and other professionals in your professional role. You have good knowledge of the primary school's governing documents and documentation requirements and are accustomed to implementing these in your daily work. Furthermore, you have experience teaching at the relevant grade level and are comfortable in the classroom. Since a criminal record check is a statutory requirement, such a check must be submitted for anyone who may be considered for the position.
