About the Department The Radiology Department in Örnsköldsvik is part of a regional operation with Radiology Departments in Sollefteå and Sundsvall. The department is mid-sized and supports both specialist healthcare and outpatient services in diagnostics and treatments with various imaging examinations. We work with, among other things, ultrasound, conventional X-ray, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, interventional procedures, and magnetic resonance imaging. The department in Örnsköldsvik employs approximately forty people. We are now seeking 1 Specialist Physician in Radiology for our team! You will work in a team together with radiologic technologists, radiologic nurses, radiologists, medical secretaries, and other administrative staff. The department is currently staffed by 7 specialists and also has 2 trainee physicians. On-call services are provided from 7:15 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, and external teleradiology services cover nighttime. This position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date by agreement. Responsibilities As a specialist physician in radiology, you will work with: Standard duties at a radiological department Leading daily operations for each imaging modality On-call duty Supervision and mentoring Qualifications We are seeking you who: Are a specialist physician in radiology Have Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe framework and English in spoken and written form.
