JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a pool supervisor, the work tasks are varied and include many different aspects. Here is a summary of the main areas of responsibility: Pool supervision at swimming facilities: One of the most important tasks is to monitor the pools to ensure safe and enjoyable swimming for all visitors. Educational instruction: You will teach swimming and lead group training such as water aerobics, which helps improve visitors' swimming skills and health. Customer service and cashier duties: Another important part of the work is to receive customers and provide information about the facility's services and activities. You will also manage the cash system and handle payments, as well as book facilities and activities. Perform service, facility maintenance, operations and upkeep: To keep the facility in top shape, you will clean and maintain the premises. Additionally, you are responsible for checking and maintaining the facility's technical systems, such as water quality in the pools. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • Completed upper secondary education. It is meritorious to have studied the program Children and Leisure with a focus on leisure and health. • Ability to swim 200 meters, of which 50 meters on your back, and have good water competence. • Lifeguard training or documented knowledge in water rescue and first aid including CPR. • Experience working as a lifeguard, swimming instructor, wellness instructor, working with children, water aerobics instructor, or leader for land-based training. • The ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy and respect. • The ability to adapt to changing conditions and easily adjust your behavior according to other people's needs. • The ability to plan and organize your work. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. The temporary position starts 2026-08-10 and runs through 2027-05-31 with the possibility of extension.
