The Company... Åkerblads Hotel & Gästgiveri is a hotel located in beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. Since the 1400s, the hotel has been owned by the Åkerblad family, and today the 19th-22nd generation of Åkerblads work with a strong team to provide guests with an experience beyond the ordinary. Experiences are what we offer our guests, from the moment they check in until they long to return to the sparkling waters of Siljan. We strive to be unique with our offering, and perhaps that's why the hotel today features 73 unique and individually decorated rooms. The restaurant works with locally produced ingredients and personal flavors, serving both conference guests and weekend guests. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and is focused on continuous development where quality is one of the cornerstones. Our Spa department consists of 3 treatment rooms, 1 duo treatment room, 1 hydrotherapy bath, and a spa suite with its own hot tub and sauna. Together with the brand new pool area featuring a pool, hydro massage pool, and outdoor pool, we also have a well-equipped gym and exclusive changing rooms with sauna. Dry relaxation areas and a pool bar are also new additions to our SPA. Your Responsibilities... As SPA Chef, you will have a driving role and lead the work in our spa department. In addition to performing treatments, you will be responsible for ensuring that therapists are available for scheduled treatments and that the treatment rooms are clean and fresh. You will work closely with our reception, as treatment bookings are made through them. You hold ultimate responsibility for ensuring this department maintains the same high standards as the rest of the hotel. In your role as SPA Chef, you will also be part of the company's management team and work closely with the owner family. The role also includes scheduling, responsibility and work allocation to therapists, budget planning, purchasing, and inventory management. Most of your work time will be dedicated to treatments. We see that your formal background includes being an authorized skincare therapist and/or spa therapist with approved education (SHR and CIDESCO).
