About Salstad Gästhem Salstad Gästhem AB is located outside Grästorp toward Vänersborg. The guest home has been established within psychiatry since 1968. Salstad Gästhem has been active in psychosis rehabilitation since 1979. The guest home's holistic approach creates continuity and security for our guests and their families in both integrated treatment and financial management of individual guests' finances and assets in cooperation with guardians and under the supervision of the public administrator. About the Position We are now seeking summer interns and part-time employees who have a genuine interest in people with psychiatric disabilities. We are looking for you who are, for example, trained nursing assistants, treatment pedagogues, treatment assistants, social pedagogues, behavioral scientists, or other qualifications that the employer considers equivalent. The work is focused on psychiatric care for our guests as well as general care work. Here we work according to a salutogenic value system. We place great emphasis on personal suitability such as initiative, service, and cooperation skills. Regular rounds with our doctor take place, who also participates in staff supervision/training. A B-class driver's license is a requirement as transportation occurs to various activities. Access to your own car is also advantageous as there is no public transportation all the way to the guest home. Fully aware of your role as a caregiver, we maintain a smoke-free workplace and working hours.
