You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, the people living with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging. As a nursing assistant/care aide, you play a key role in a team with a nurse and group manager who work closely together. About Villa Joneberg 800 meters from the sea, just outside Simrishamn's center, the modern elderly care facility Villa Joneberg (formerly Joneberg Plaza) has been located since 2014. Here there are units with space for people with dementia as well as care places for patients with somatic illnesses. The facility has a uniquely distinctive profile based on its geographical location: "Culture and nature on Österlen". Dementia Certification: We are a dementia-certified facility, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia and person-centered care through the Dementia Academy. Group Managers: You have a manager close by who spends part of their time working in the operations. This can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. Animals in Care: We work with animals in care and we have regular visits from therapy animals. We would prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant/care aide or have equivalent experience working in elderly care. Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing.
