Work as a personal assistant is highly varied, but regardless of the specific tasks, you will make a valuable difference for the person you are supporting. Your work hours vary based on the client's needs, ranging from 24-hour shifts, day-evening shifts, overnight shifts, and weekend work. Submit your CV and cover letter today. Interviews are ongoing, and there may be an opportunity to begin training now to start as a temporary staff member as early as spring. Don't forget to mention if you have a driver's license and access to a car, which may be crucial for certain clients to ensure you can get to work. If you are selected to begin working with one of our clients, you will need to provide a criminal background check as part of your employment. There are two types depending on whether you will be working with child clients or adults over 18 years old. When working with children Work with children with disabilities is subject to background check requirements under the Act (2010:479) on background checks for staff providing services to children with disabilities.
