Nytida is part of the Ambea corporate group. www.nytida.se We are seeking summer interns for Brahevägen, Fredriksberg, and Fredriksäng The operations consist of two group homes in Stenkullen and one service apartment in Floda. The group homes house a total of eleven people with intellectual disabilities of mixed ages. The operations focus heavily on activities and social interaction. Everything from various outings, both nearby and far away, to parties, barbecues, and crafts at home. The service apartment houses seven people, and there are more individual activities there, but evenings and fine summer days provide good opportunities for shared socializing. Your Assignment In your role as a support assistant, you will work based on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff, you will work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. The employment is approximately 75-100%. Work hours are scheduled for day, evening, night (sleeping on-call), and weekends. Your Qualifications You preferably have secondary education in healthcare and care, or other education deemed equivalent, such as childcare and recreation. It is a plus if you have experience working with this target group. You see possibilities, have a positive outlook, and strong commitment to people. The work requires that you are responsible and have personal maturity. You share your knowledge and experience with your colleagues and see it as natural to contribute to a positive work environment. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are required. We place great importance on personal suitability.
