Home Care Services East in Söderköping includes the areas of Archipelago and Husby Backe as well as Eriksvik. After the summer, there is an opportunity for continued employment within home care services, both as a temporary substitute and through temporary assignments, based on the service's needs. Job Description As a summer substitute in home care services, you work to support our customers in their own homes. The work tasks are varied and may include: Personal care Practical tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping Social support and conversation Simple health and nursing tasks, such as medication management, insulin, and wound care Documentation in our digital systems Söderköping home care is a keyless operation. We work in the Lifecare management system and use the LMO app for daily planning. Working hours vary and may include day, evening, and weekend shifts. You work sometimes independently and sometimes with a colleague, both in central Söderköping and in outer areas. Qualifications Must be 18 years old Interest in working within elderly care Flexible and responsible approach Comfortable working both independently and in a team Demonstrates empathy, engagement, and professional conduct Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Some computer and mobile phone experience B driver's license is required. Home care services rely heavily on vehicles. Previous experience in elderly care or nursing education is meritorious but not required – personal suitability is most important. To work within elderly care, you must provide a valid police clearance certificate. The certificate must be ordered by you personally and the original must be presented in connection with employment.
