You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those living with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging. As a nursing assistant/care aide, you play a key role in a team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists who work closely together. About Fridhemslund In the municipality of Ängelholm lies beautiful Fridhemslund, a new elderly care residence in the growing district of Fridhem. Fridhem is located in a completely new central area of Ängelholm, south of Ängelholm's sports field with walking distance to both the sea and the city center, and close to the train station and bus lines. The residence has 40 places for people with dementia and 40 for those with care needs. We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to add a special touch to the lives of our residents. Group managers: You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operations. This can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. Animals in care: We work with animals in care and we have regular visits from therapy animals. Your Experience and Knowledge We guess that you who apply to us: - are attracted to work that is varied and requires extensive knowledge about care and service, but also a talent for meeting people in different situations. - are a creative person who dares to think for yourself and take responsibility. - enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues. We would like to see that you are trained as a nursing assistant/care aide or have equivalent experience working in elderly care. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
