We're seeking engaged and responsible summer interns for elderly care in Haninge Municipality. To work with us this summer, you must be able to work scheduled shifts during weeks 26-29 or 30-33. We'd prefer if you could work both periods. A schedule includes day/evening shifts and every other weekend. Opportunities for extra work before summer are available. It's an asset if you have previous experience or are studying care and support. We're seeking summer interns for our operations in: Home Care (driver's license is an asset but not required) with day, evening, and every other weekend shifts. Care and Support Housing with day, evening, and every other weekend shifts Here you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives and contribute to a positive and secure environment for the elderly. As a summer intern, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues dedicated to providing the best possible care and support. To ensure our employees have the language skills required for the role, we apply language testing in our recruitment process. Responsibilities In your role as a summer intern in elderly care in Haninge Municipality, you'll play an important and responsible role in ensuring safe and quality care for service users. Your main responsibility includes supporting and caring for the elderly in their daily life and activities. It's crucial that you are independent and can take your own initiative, while remaining flexible and adapting to the service user's needs. Your specific areas of responsibility include: Provide support and care to elderly persons in their daily activities. Create and maintain trusting relationships with the service user to promote their well-being. Personal care such as toilet assistance and showering, transfers, cleaning, laundry, and shopping. Work closely with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment. Have empathy and a holistic perspective for each individual. Plan and carry out activities that stimulate both physically and mentally, tailored to the individual's needs and wishes. Through your work, you'll have the opportunity to impact and improve the quality of life for many elderly individuals, which is a meaningful and rewarding task. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you are empathetic and have a holistic perspective when it comes to care and support. Having a structured work method will help you prioritize and manage tasks effectively. To work in elderly care in Haninge, you must be at least 18 years old and provide an extract from the police record before employment.
