We are now recruiting support assistants for summer temporary positions at Högås camp/short-term care. At Högås, you'll meet people with various support and care needs. It involves supporting children, young people, and young adults with Neuropsychiatric Functional Disabilities (NPF). Together we cook, clean, go on outings, exercise, talk, and much more. We're looking for someone who wants to get to know, understand, and be part of another person's life. Your Assignment As a support assistant, you work based on each participant's individual needs and preferences, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other team members, you work toward making each day meaningful and engaging. You support and guide in areas including personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, and communication. An important part of the work is to encourage and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. About Högås Camp Operation Högås is a rural camp estate located between Vagnhärad and Gnesta with many opportunities for activities and relaxation. We serve participants with autism level 1 or 2 and/or ADHD between 7 and 21 years old. The camp operates between weeks 25-32 with six different periods. The facility offers no collective transportation, so you must have a driver's license and be comfortable driving a car. We work according to Nytida's pedagogical framework, which means an individual-centered approach based on low-arousal interaction and clarifying pedagogy. At Nytida's camp operation, we want a good balance between fun activities and relaxation time. It's important to us that you actively participate in what happens at camp. We'd like to see that you're interested in motivating participants in outdoor activities in the surrounding area. Our facilities include rooms for crafts and creative activities, movie watching and video games. Outdoors we have a large lawn for activities and proximity to a lake for fishing and swimming. Your Experience and Knowledge We believe that you who apply to us: Can work between weeks 25-32 have experience with this target group have a positive outlook and strong commitment to people are responsible and have personal maturity enjoy working in a team You have at least secondary education in care and social services or equivalent education. It's a merit if you have experience working with this target group. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing is required, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we'll support you and give you opportunities to grow.
