About the Job as a Personal Assistant As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday activities and during leisure time. Your workplace is wherever the customer is located, and your work tasks generally involve assisting the customer so they have the conditions to live the life they wish. We are looking for someone who is responsible, attentive, and quick to learn new tasks. At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction with the customer and have access to training on the role of personal assistant. Work Tasks Your work tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. They can include everything from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, housework, meal preparation, to assisting the customer at work or with activities outside the home. About the Employment As a temporary employee, the employment form is Hourly employment and compensation is hourly wage. Working hours vary based on customer needs: day, evening, night (active and on-call), weekdays and weekends. For certain positions, you must have a driver's license and access to a car. Salary and other employment terms are according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Care Employers - Municipal.
