About Villa Roos Park Villa Roos Park is a modern, dementia-friendly elderly care home in Staffanstorp. It has 63 apartments, a large garden, cultivation plots and a glass-enclosed winter garden. The activities are specialized and adapted for residents with dementia, which characterizes the design and furnishings. Villa Roos Park also has a department with eight places aimed at short-term care, with a focus on somatic care. About Villa Vikhem Villa Vikhem is an elderly care home in the Vikhen area in Staffanstorp. It has 60 places, 40 focused on somatic care. 20 places are operated as short-term care. About the role You work in a team with other rehabilitation staff, nurses and care personnel, and your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. As an occupational therapist, you find together with the residents the best ways to use their own abilities in everyday life. You support and motivate people to develop and maintain their physical, cognitive and social abilities. This often means that you: make assessments and adapt the daily environment. test and prescribe physical and cognitive aids. guide your colleagues in rehabilitation interventions, approaches, transfer techniques, etc. have contact with the residents' next of kin. About the role As a physical therapist, you find together with the residents the best ways to use their own abilities in everyday life. You support and motivate people to develop and maintain their mobility. This often means that you: examine/assess/treat the residents' movement problems and functional limitations test and prescribe medical aids work preventatively by educating other staff members about transfer techniques to avoid strain injuries. Your experience and knowledge We believe that you who apply to us: are attracted to work that is varied and requires great knowledge of care and elderly care very much enjoy meeting people in different situations are independent, can make your own assessments and make decisions and dare to think for yourself have a pedagogical approach and enjoy working in teams and supporting colleagues. You are a licensed occupational therapist or licensed physical therapist and we would like to see that you have a few years of experience in elderly care. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement. Other Employment: full-time, 40h/week.
