Duties: Storumans Municipality is seeking staff for our elder care operations in Tärnaby, 130 kilometers from Storuman and 20 kilometers from Hemavan. Work is performed in home care, our LSS activities as a personal assistant, or at the elderly residences Vikbacka and Stefansgården, which have a dementia focus, as well as the short-term housing facility Granhöjden, which also has emergency beds. Work is scheduled for day/evening and night shifts, weekdays and weekends according to schedule. Heavy lifting occurs in the work, and we provide training on how to do this as ergonomically as possible. Qualifications: Education and previous experience in similar work within elderly and LSS care are merits, and great weight will be placed on personal suitability. You should be positive and have commitment to the assignment, as well as good cooperation skills and the ability to take own initiatives. A driver's license is required for work in home care and night patrols. Being able to speak and understand Swedish is important to us. We have a language requirement equivalent to approved grades in Swedish in grade nine. In case of any uncertainties, we will conduct a written language test. Before a contract is signed, you must have submitted an extract from the criminal record register, which you order from the Police Authority.
