Residential Support Worker at LSS Group Home – Summer Position 90% with Immediate Start Help us make the world a little better – one person at a time We are now seeking an experienced staff member for a 90% summer position with immediate start and employment through August 31st. You have previous experience in care work and feel confident meeting people with diverse needs. We would be happy if you could start as soon as possible. The schedule is already set and there are good opportunities to continue as a casual substitute after the summer. About the Service Fjällgatan Kaprifolen is a group home within the LSS system for adults with autism and/or intellectual disabilities. Our work is based on respect, participation, and the individual's right to an independent life. We use structured teaching methods and low-arousal interaction to create safety and good quality of life for the people living with us. Your Role As a residential support worker, you work closely with our residents and are an important part of their daily lives. Your tasks include: Provide personal care and support in all aspects of daily living Support with structure, communication, and social interaction Work using low-arousal interaction and structured teaching methods Assist with meals, household chores, and leisure activities Document according to established procedures and follow implementation plans Contribute to a safe, stable, and meaningful daily life for the residents Work Hours Work hours vary to meet our residents' needs around the clock. You will work day shifts, evening shifts, and sometimes overnight shifts. Some shifts are shorter and others longer. Who Are We Looking For? This is not an ordinary summer job.
