The unit has good cohesion where everyone cares about each other's well-being. We have a senior social secretary who leads the daily work. Team members participate in supervision and networks, receive methodological support, and benefit from close collegial support. We are in an exciting phase where we are consolidating expertise from the labor market and financial support areas into a new working model. In the unit, case workers in economic assistance and employment counselors work together with individuals on their path to self-sufficiency. What can we offer you? The main assignment is to work together with the individual all the way toward self-sufficiency. The paths to self-sufficiency look different depending on individuals' different needs. During the process toward earning one's own living, the right to economic assistance is assessed and tested. With us, you are an important part in supporting individuals toward self-sufficiency and an independent life. The individuals we meet often need various forms of support aimed at strengthening their own resources. It is important to identify needs and meet them in a way that promotes the individual's development. The work involves cooperation internally and externally. The work includes tasks such as initial visits, follow-up visits, planning meetings, follow-up meetings, on-call duties, cooperation, and other case handling tasks. Together with the individual, action plans are developed. Documentation tasks are included and recorded in the VIVA management system. What are we looking for in you? We are looking for someone with a social work degree or another academic education that the employer considers equivalent. We would like you to have previous experience working with the target group, case handling, and good knowledge of the laws underlying the work. Good knowledge of the social service's other areas of activity and experience of cooperation with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Public Employment Service, health and medical care, and other relevant actors is a merit. You meet people with respect, trust, and commitment. You have a strong belief in the individual's ability. The work tasks require that you have good structure, a solution-focused approach, the ability to take initiative, and drive processes. You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and experience using various management systems included in your assignment. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, and since we are in an exciting development phase, you are someone who enjoys development! A class B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement. Information Selection and interviews may take place continuously during the application period. Start date by agreement.
