The Social Office's Adult Services Unit is seeking a social secretary who, together with colleagues, group managers, and unit managers, wants to drive and further develop work within harmful use and addiction, intimate partner violence, and criminality. In the Adult Services Unit, over 30 engaged employees work together with three group managers and a unit manager. We provide support to adults in the areas of financial support, integration, harmful use and addiction, intimate partner violence, criminality, social psychiatry, and housing. We are a social, cheerful, and energetic work group where many have chosen to stay for an extended period. Job Description As a social secretary with us, you are responsible for investigating, assessing, and making decisions about interventions for adults with harmful use and addiction, or who are victims of intimate partner violence, or who wish to leave a criminal group. You follow up on approved interventions and ensure that support is tailored to the individual's needs, applicable legislation, and the municipality's guidelines. The work involves close collaboration with the municipality's open care services, which offer structured treatment interventions both individually and in groups. You also maintain contact with other internal and external actors to create cohesive support for the individual. The assignment includes documenting according to applicable guidelines, contributing to development work within the unit, and actively participating in good cooperation within the unit. We are looking for you who: have a degree in social work have solid knowledge and extensive experience with public authority work within the substance abuse field have experience working with intimate partner violence write and speak well As a person, you are engaged, empathetic, mature, and flexible. You work in a structured manner, are good at collaborating, and relate well to others.
