Here, expertise is gathered to make initial assessments and ensure that residents quickly receive the right support. Work is conducted in close collaboration with other units within Child and Family Services as well as other operations within the Social Services Department. We work according to BBIC (Child's Needs First) and IBIC (Individual's Needs First) and strive for social work based on knowledge, participation, holistic perspective, and high quality. Work Tasks To facilitate matters for residents, collaboration partners, and other actors, the Unit for Child and Family Authority, together with the Unit for Adult and Support Services Authority, is establishing a joint reception office. The goal is to make it easy for individuals to reach social services and for us to meet inquiries with broad expertise from the first contact. In your role as social secretary, you will handle cases involving domestic violence, harmful use and addiction, acute housing, LSS, social psychiatry, as well as child and family matters. We are now seeking social secretaries who want to help build and develop this new operation. As a social secretary, you have a central role in social services' first contact with residents, both children and adults. You receive and handle applications, reports, and inquiries, and make initial assessments of the need for support or protection. Your work includes: receiving and assessing incoming applications and concern reports conducting preliminary assessments according to applicable legislation making protection assessments and acute assessments when needed providing information, advice, and guidance to residents and collaboration partners cooperating with other units within social services and external actors contributing to the development of work methods, routines, and structures in the new reception office The work is based on the Social Services Act, the Care of Abusers Act, and the Youth Care Act, as well as social services' mandate to work in a legally secure, accessible manner with the child's best interests in focus. As a social secretary, you are often the "spider in the web" and have an important function in creating a clear, secure, and accessible entrance to social services. Qualifications are a social worker or have other education that the employer considers equivalent have experience in social work within authority operations have good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing have a B driver's license It is meritorious if you have experience with reception office work or preliminary assessments, work within child and youth services, adult and support services, and work according to BBIC/IBIC. As a person, you are confident, organized, and have the ability to make professional assessments even in complex situations.
