We who work within the Elderly Unit are part of a team of social workers, team leaders, occupational therapist, housing coordinator, and unit manager. We operate throughout Hudiksvall Municipality, with a base in central Hudiksvall. We are engaged employees driven by making a difference for our residents. We value a good work environment and you will have close support from your team leader in daily work and colleagues who support and work together to continuously improve our operations. You also have proximity to managers and administrators. We work continuously with case supervision. As a new employee, you will receive an introduction based on your needs and experience. We have an agreement regarding annual working hours that allows you to be flexible to some extent as long as it doesn't impact operations. We also have an agreement regarding remote work for certain periods. Wellness allowance and access to a fitness facility in the same building. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, which means the recruitment may be closed before the job posting expires. Job Responsibilities The work involves investigating, assessing, and making decisions on requested services according to the Social Services Act, as well as following up on and reconsidering these decisions. You make well-founded decisions and maintain high legal certainty in your work. In your role as a social worker, you will collaborate with both internal and external actors in the municipality. Your Profile Qualifications For the position of social worker, it is required that you: - Hold a degree from a social work program or other equivalent higher education. - Have strong ability to express yourself orally and in writing, to organize and structure work, as well as strong ability for independent work. - Computer proficiency - Driving license (category B) To be a good fit for the role, we also believe you: - are service-oriented and have the ability to build trust and provide good customer service. - are well-organized. We care for our elderly when they need support in their daily lives. We are one of few municipalities in Sweden that has an integrated social services department.
