About the Workplace The Authority Unit in Aneby Municipality consists of three teams: the children/youth team, the adult team, and the support team. We work closely together and actively collaborate with open care and schools to ensure good coordination and a holistic perspective. Job Duties In your role as a placement follow-up officer, you will primarily work with placed children/youth aged 0-20 and their families. This involves investigation and follow-up work according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act. In your role as a follow-up officer, you will be the central hub around the placed child/youth, maintaining contacts with parents, foster families, schools/preschools, healthcare, police, and other collaboration partners. The target group also includes unaccompanied children for whom social services are responsible. In our team, there is another follow-up officer with whom you will share your assignment, as well as two foster care secretaries. We are a small group with strong team spirit that in recent years has worked hard on workplace issues and establishing a stable and well-functioning foster care system. With us, you will work with a high degree of team spirit, supported by legislation, guidelines, and practice. In your daily work, you will receive support and supervision from the unit manager and colleagues, as well as an external supervisor. The work is characterized by professionalism and good conduct, as well as responsiveness to the needs of children, youth, and families. We strive to enable change for the children and youth we meet, promote collaboration, and work with participation and quality in a respectful manner. Our goal is to reach good solutions together with the individual. Right now, we are facing an exciting and intensive development process to meet the transition to the new Social Services Act. Working to become an increasingly evidence-based, accessible, and preventive social service, we are among other things further developing our organization, including school collaboration for placed children, Family Focus, and Parents at a Distance. Qualifications We are looking for you who wants to work as a social secretary in an operation where people are at the center. You have: A degree in Social Work A category B driving license BBIC training/Child-Centered Case Management is a merit. We would like you to have experience with similar assignments or other social authority work with children, youth, and families. Experience with Signs of Safety, ICDP, IRisk, the Combine management system, and foster care is a merit.
