Description We are seeking a social secretary specializing in children and youth for IFO (Investigation, Care and Treatment Services). This is a permanent position. Duties and Qualifications The Social Services department is seeking a new team member. We are looking for someone with a degree in social work (socionom) and preferably experience working with investigations and interventions related to children, young people, and their families. Since the social office is a small workplace, each team member becomes an important part of the social services' overall work. Therefore, personal suitability is given great weight. You should be able to work independently but also collaborate with colleagues and external partners, be flexible, and comfortable with great variation in tasks. It is important that you are responsible, stress-resilient, curious, and enjoy meeting with people and doing social work. We work in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL), the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU). Daily work mainly involves investigation work but also receiving reports and applications. When possible, social secretaries work in pairs, with access to close supervision and external counseling. Requirements include a degree in social work, knowledge of current legislation, strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, and good collaboration and initiative skills. Merits include experience in authority work within IFO, knowledge and experience with BBIC and other knowledge-related training, and a valid B-class driver's license.
