Amplius Omsorg is a care chain specializing in qualified assessments and treatment for children and families, secure housing, open care, and family foster care. Our operations are located in several places in southern Sweden. We are expanding our services and are now seeking two Protection Consultants to complete our team. About Amplius Secure Housing Amplius secure housing serves women and families with children aged 0-18 who have experienced intimate partner violence or honor-related violence and oppression. Everyone living with us receives support in the form of protection, practical assistance with government agency contacts, counseling/child counseling, and other practical daily support. The goal is to provide as normal and functional a daily life as possible in a vulnerable situation. Our housing options are located in southern Sweden and we offer both independent apartments and shared housing. The operation is licensed by IVO. About the Role As a Protection Consultant, you will meet children and adults based on their specific situation with a focus on protection. The work requires you to be a trustworthy person who, with great empathy and dedication, helps create calm and security both practically and emotionally. You need the ability to build close and good relationships and be attentive to our residents' needs while understanding their vulnerable situation. We work on commission from the social services, which includes conducting continuous risk and safety assessments and security planning. We work according to a quality management system with associated procedures and policies where we systematically work to evaluate and improve our work. Collaboration with social services, other authorities, and organizations is central to us. Documentation and report writing are part of the position. Your responsibilities include providing counseling support related to experienced violence, assistance with government agency contacts, conducting risk and safety assessments and security planning, practical help, and emotional support. Tasks are primarily carried out in the homes of our residents, but may also be performed at the Amplius office. The work also includes picking up and dropping off people who move in or out. Working hours are weekdays 8-17, but may include occasional evening work based on operational needs. Pickup and drop-off times are redistributed as needed. We offer full-time employment, but can also consider a lower percentage 75-80% if that suits you better. You are covered by trust-based working hours. About You We are looking for someone with at least two years of post-secondary education in social work such as social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education combined with experience we deem equivalent. You have at least two years of experience in social work and we would like you to have experience working with intimate partner violence (VINR) and/or honor-related violence and oppression (HRV). It is advantageous if you have worked with risk and safety assessments such as Freda, Sara, Patriark, SAM. Training in TMO (trauma-informed care) is also an advantage. You have a strong commitment to vulnerable groups, particularly women and families with children who have experienced violence, and you have a great understanding of the impact of violence on individuals. You are both risk-aware and solution-focused. To thrive in this role, you need to be trustworthy, stable, and unpretentious. You distinguish between the personal and the professional, are flexible, and adapt easily to changing circumstances. You have the ability to build good working relationships and are a true team player. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Your knowledge of Swedish and English is good, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are an advantage. Good computer skills and solid knowledge of social documentation are necessary. A driver's license for a passenger car (B) is a requirement.
