We are now seeking a school nurse for Kviingeskolan and Västerskolan. In this role, you will work closely with the student health services manager for medical interventions. As a school nurse, you work to promote health and prevent illness at the organizational, group, and individual levels, and contribute to creating environments where students can develop, feel good, and succeed in their learning. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a school nurse, you will have a central role in students' daily lives and the opportunity to make a real difference. Your daily work includes, among other things: • Health examinations and health consultations • Vaccinations • Open clinic hours • Health education • Collaboration with student health professionals You will also collaborate with school psychologists, special education teachers, the municipality's school nurses, and school physicians. The role includes contact with guardians, educators, school staff, and external partners. You will be based at Kviingeskolan in Hanaskog (F6) and Västerskolan in Knislinge (F3). Both schools are located in nature-rich environments that are actively used in teaching and after-school activities. You will be part of the student health team and contribute to the school's development work with a clear health promotion perspective. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed nurse with advanced education in healthcare for children and youth, public health nursing/district nursing, or school nurse education. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to health promotion work and who enjoys working in a team. It is advantageous if you have experience as a school nurse and working with children and young people, as well as good knowledge of the Swedish school system. You have good digital skills and use technology as a natural tool in your work. Experience with various medical record systems is an advantage. To succeed in this role, you need to be able to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have good collaboration skills, take responsibility, and work carefully and systematically. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Any person offered the position must provide an extract from the police criminal record register. A Class B driver's license is required as travel within the municipality is part of the duties.
