Orust Waldorf School, Stensbo School, and Orust Montessori School are now seeking a School Nurse for our programs. The position is allocated one day per school. Our programs are located on Orust with proximity to forest and sea. The schools are characterized by a love of learning and the opportunity to succeed. Orust Montessori School has approximately 60 children in preschool through grade 6, and is located in Henån. Orust Waldorf School has approximately 150 children in preschool through grade 9, and is located about 10 minutes from Henån in beautiful Slussen. Stensbo School is located in Hälleviksstrand on western Orust and has approximately 40 children in preschool through grade 6. Job Responsibilities: The school nurse's primary areas of responsibility are health screenings and health consultations as well as vaccination activities within the student health team's medical services. The school nurse should primarily work preventatively and health-promoting with the goal of promoting physical health and preventing mental health issues. The school nurse is part of the student health team at each school.
