Lechner is now looking for an engaged and present Shift Leader who wants to help develop both people and production. About the Role As a Shift Leader, you will have a broad and varied role where you are responsible for leading and distributing work in production during your shift. You work closely with the production team and have an important function in creating structure, engagement, and the right conditions for production to run efficiently and with high quality. You will lead approximately 23 people per shift in a two-shift operation and work operatively close to the business. Working hours are arranged on a 2-shift basis. The role is right for you if you enjoy being out in production, getting people to collaborate, and creating a team where everyone works toward the same goal. You will work with, among other things: Planning and managing daily production work Ensuring quality, delivery, and efficiency Coaching and supporting employees in daily work Working with improvement initiatives and process development Ensuring a safe and secure work environment Collaboration with site manager, quality department, and other functions Work in business systems and production systems such as Monitor There are great opportunities to be involved, develop, and make your mark on the business moving forward. We are Looking for You We believe you have previous experience from manufacturing industry and some form of leadership, for example as a team leader, shift leader, or production manager. You don't need an academic education; what matters most is that you have the right attitude, a technical interest, and the ability to make things happen.
