About the role You are central to the residents' health and medical care services and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in operations. Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. An important role for you is to coach and train care staff so that together you give each resident the best possible life. In this you work closely with the residence's group managers who are responsible for care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations. We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you is "Leading Without Being the Boss". Getting to know the residents Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical condition is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions. Clear routines To create safety and clarity for you as a nurse, there is comprehensive support in the form of practical and easy-to-apply routines, policy documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading. As a new nurse with us, you participate in our digital orientation program together with your mentor to ensure you receive clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into the work and our routines. Our residents are often multi-ill and it requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge about various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in aging people. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
