Your New Workplace INM in Lund is a general psychiatry outpatient clinic for patients aged 18 and older in need of specialist psychiatric care, living in Lund or Kävlinge. Our mission within specialist psychiatry is to offer assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with complex psychiatric issues according to the interface with primary care. We are now expanding the general psychiatry team with an additional nurse. The clinic consists of multidisciplinary teams, and you will work together with other nursing colleagues, physicians, psychologists, care assistants, counselors, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and administrative staff. Working as a Nurse at INM Lund The nurse's role is central, and together with your physician colleagues, you are responsible for the patient's medical care and treatment. You participate in the patient's care planning and collaborate with other healthcare providers and the patient's network. Your work includes psychiatric nursing care such as assessing health status and care needs, crisis and support conversations, somatic check-ups, medical follow-up, blood tests, and EKG when needed. Your work also includes supervising nursing students. Your most important contribution is in meeting with patients, which is why we have administrative staff and clear procedures that free up time for your specialist expertise to be fully utilized. About You Registered nurse, preferably with a specialist qualification in psychiatry Experience within psychiatry CBT Level 1 is a merit You are accustomed to working independently and enjoy taking initiative and developing your work forward. At the same time, you are attentive and value participation and collaboration with other professions. You have a positive attitude and appreciate the social work environment and team spirit. You are interested in knowing how our patients are doing and want to be involved in how we best improve and develop care.
