The Neurology Clinic is part of the neurological care unit and is part of the medical department at CSK. We are a specialist clinic for patients who are evaluated and treated for neurological diseases. The largest diagnostic groups are Epilepsy, MS, ALS, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and migraine. With the patient at the center, we work in multidisciplinary teams consisting of doctors, nurses, and medical secretaries. We also have physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors, dietitians, and speech-language pathologists. The Neurology Clinic shares premises with the internal medicine clinic at CSK. CSK is the acute hospital for northeastern Scania. Here, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff. With the resources of a large hospital and the proximity and sense of community of a smaller hospital, CSK offers residents in its catchment area care within all specialties. We have approximately 2,600 employees. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nurse at the neurology clinic, you will have your own nurse clinic with both patient visits and telephone follow-ups. You will staff our telephone advice service and rotate to our infusion clinic where our patient groups come for treatment. Your work also includes team visits, 1177, appointment scheduling, registry management, and advice to other departments as well as other standard nursing duties. To help you enter the operation and your role in the best way, we offer you an introduction tailored to your previous experience and needs. Working hours at the clinic are during daytime. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed nurse with the authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. It is meritorious if you have previous experience in neurology and have an interest in Parkinson's disease. We are looking for you with good organizational skills and foresight, while at the same time you can easily adapt and prioritize your work when an acute situation arises.
