Our Operations At Neurology Unit 85D, you will meet patients with a wide variety of neurological diagnoses – from acute illnesses to planned treatments. Here we work with highly specialized care in areas such as epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, motor neuron disease (MND), and DBS (deep brain stimulation). With us, you will have a workday that is educational, varied, and meaningful. Patient groups requiring minor neurosurgical procedures are also cared for in the unit as part of their treatment. We also have two EEG monitoring rooms available 24/7 for patients being evaluated for or who have epilepsy. A large part of our planned care consists of regional patients from all over Sweden. We place great importance on professional development and offer, among other things, weekly lectures and continuing education opportunities. At the same time, we actively work to create a good and sustainable work environment where we support each other and enjoy working together. Your Role As a nurse with us, you will be an important part of an engaged and conscientious team. • Provide care to patients in both acute and planned stages • Work closely with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing assistants • Lead your own care team and contribute to safe, secure, and holistic care Who Are You?
