Here, qualified acute care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff. CSK combines the resources of a large hospital with the closeness and sense of community of a smaller hospital. The hospital offers residents in its catchment area care with short waiting times across all specialties. We are approximately 2,600 employees. Our Surgical Department for Scheduled Operations is a unit at Central Hospital Kristianstad focused on bariatric surgery every other week and other surgical procedures every other week such as gynecology, lower gastrointestinal surgery, hernia repair, and gallbladder procedures as well as potentially other diagnoses. We conduct planned surgical operations for both inpatient and outpatient patients, as well as outpatient clinic work. Our operations include the ward, operating room, and recovery areas, meaning we follow patients through the entire care pathway. As part of our operations, we also run an admission department where patients from various units at CSK are received and prepared for operations and various types of examinations. Our department has nurses, nursing assistants, a dietitian (with availability in Malmö), and medical secretaries working closely together. The department is open 24 hours, Monday at 06:45 to Friday at 15:30. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The position consists of nursing duties within preoperative and postoperative patient care. As a nurse with us, you will also be responsible for follow-up of completed bariatric operations, patient counseling, and group discharge conversations. QUALIFICATIONS You are a registered nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have a genuine interest in people and your Swedish language skills meet at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. Experience working in an operating department is a merit. Similarly, experience in bariatric surgery is advantageous. We would appreciate it if you have knowledge of healthcare administrative systems such as Melior and Orbit. We are looking for someone who is skilled at planning and organizing their work in advance, but who also has the ability to prioritize in acute situations. Furthermore, you are thorough, confident, stable, and see patients based on their individual needs. It is important that you have a professional approach toward both patients and relatives.
