Your Role with Us The on-call service is staffed by five nurses working evening shifts. Two nurses are responsible for telephone advice, and one can also respond and provide services if needed during higher workload. The telephone role includes receiving and triaging calls from the operation regarding patients with municipal health and nursing services, as well as assessing care needs and taking or referring appropriate measures. As an on-call nurse in Kristianstad Municipality, you work across all operational areas, including home healthcare, care and residential facilities, disability services (LSS), social psychiatry, and other municipal operations. The positions include scheduled combined shifts where you work both day and evening, and occasional night shifts may also occur. Work tasks are varied and may include: Sample collection, wound dressing changes, changing central infusion lines, injections, medication handling, and assessments in case of changes in health status. The position is within on-call services with working hours in the evening/day. In this recruitment, we work with continuous selection and will continuously call interesting applicants for interviews. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with at least 2 years of experience. If you have several years of experience from home healthcare in municipal operations and have previously worked in on-call services, we consider that a merit. You are familiar with IT-based medical record systems and we require that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you also have experience with the Lifecare documentation system. A B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement. Your personal qualities are very important to us, and we are looking for someone who has good communication skills, promotes a good work environment, and can work both independently and in a team. You can create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally, and you cooperate well with people in different contexts and functions. You must be able to prioritize and plan while having the ability to quickly adapt to the operation's needs of the day. The activities are functionally divided into four operational areas: support in regular housing, support in care and residential facilities, health and nursing care, and functional support. The administration also includes a government unit, a national upper secondary school, and an assistive devices center in Eastern Skåne.
