Region Blekinge implements crisis staffing protocols for all permanent employees. About the Job Cardiac Intensive Care (HIA) consists of 4-6 beds. We provide patient-centered care in close collaboration with Cardiac Radiology, from where we follow our patients directly to HIA. At cardiac intensive care, we provide highly specialized cardiac intensive care equipped with modern equipment. We manage CPAP, ischemia monitoring, arterial catheters, central venous catheters, pericardial drains, pleural drains, transvenous pacemakers, electrical cardioversion, and postoperative care for TAVI and, in certain cases, intermediate postoperative care for CABG. The work is independent and varied within a team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, and physicians. Job duties include continuous patient observation, careful monitoring, and high-quality nursing care. At HIA, we work collaboratively and distribute work based on need. We hold patient responsibility for our myocardial infarction patients in Cardiac Radiology during on-call hours. Staffing consists of 2 nurses and 1-2 nursing assistants around the clock. About You We are looking for a registered nurse. Experience in cardiac care, ICU nurse certification, or other relevant specialist competence is a merit.
