As a registered nurse specializing in home healthcare in the patient's ordinary residence (home care) or in a residential care facility (care and residential home), you are responsible in your professional role for leading the nursing care and, together with other staff members, making a comprehensive assessment of the patient's need for healthcare, rehabilitation, and care. The work is very independent, but you will be part of a team consisting of registered nurses, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and nursing assistants. The position will include weekend shifts where you will work out in the field with home healthcare throughout the municipality. Your tasks will include, among other things: Handling medications Administering infusions Managing medication pumps and other medical equipment Making medical assessments based on each specific situation Performing interventions as well as follow-ups Telephone advice to care staff As a registered nurse in home healthcare, you work with many different systems and digital solutions such as digital key management, the journal system Combine, planning system Lifecare, digital signature system Alfa, and incident reporting DF-respons. Your Profile You have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in a functional and efficient manner. You are solution-oriented, have good collaboration skills, and a flexible approach to your work. As a person, you are responsive and have the ability to meet customer differences in a professional manner. The work is largely independent and requires you to be initiative-taking, driven, and self-reliant. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Home Healthcare is responsible for health and medical care services for patients of all ages who are enrolled in home healthcare. Patients live in ordinary residences, residential care homes, group homes, short-term care facilities, or participate in day activities in the municipality. In close dialogue with the patient and their relatives, we provide good and safe care. Home Healthcare is organized into several geographical areas: West, East, North, Center, South, Emergency/Resource, and Workshop.
