The child and adolescent psychiatry service in Hässleholm features traditional outpatient care as the foundation of clinical operations, infant services, and access to intermediate care services based in Kristianstad. The service operates in multiprofessional teams with broad expertise. Within the service, we have also established functional teams focused on specific problem areas. We maintain a creative and positive work environment in a team of approximately 20 employees from various professional categories including psychologists, physicians, social workers, nursing assistants, and nurses. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP) outpatient care provides assessment, treatment, and evaluation services to children/adolescents and their families in Hässleholm, Perstorp, and Osby municipalities. The nurse position in the team involves medication monitoring for neuropsychiatric conditions as well as general psychiatric conditions. You will perform typical nursing tasks within your scope of practice and in collaboration with other team members. You will also work on clinic-wide tasks such as parent education programs and various information meetings. We continuously focus on development and can offer you training of both shorter and more comprehensive nature. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at a minimum of C1 level according to the Council of Europe scale is required for this position. It is meritious if you have the following education and experience: • Specialist education in psychiatry or child and adolescent care. • Advanced training level 1 in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). • Professional experience in child psychiatric assessment, treatment, and evaluation work within neuropsychiatry. • Good computer skills and experience with the Melior medical records system.
