Then you might be just the right person for us. The Akademiska Home Care Department is expanding and we now need more colleagues for our unit. The Akademiska Home Care Department provides acute specialist care – in the patient's home. Instead of the patient being hospitalized, you and your colleagues visit the patient at home to provide the care that would normally be given in inpatient wards. You build relationships, see the whole picture, and make a real difference for the patient. This care model has been applied in several places across Sweden for several years and demonstrates very high patient satisfaction and patient participation. Patient visits occur according to need and diagnosis, typically one to three times per day. The work is coordinated by a team center together with mobile teams that plan and prioritize both physical and digital visits. The mobile team, consisting of a nurse, comprises two people and patient meetings take place physically in the home and digitally via video visits with the team center's nurse and the responsible physician. Your Assignment As a mobile nurse in the Akademiska Home Care Department, you will be responsible for caring for patients in their home environment. During home visits, you may perform tasks such as blood sampling, IV antibiotics, injections, and fluid therapy. Initially, you will work with standard nursing tasks during home visits and, with experience, also with responsibility for the team center. There is always a responsible physician at the hospital who, in close collaboration with the nurse at the team center, plans the patient's care. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with an interest in this form of care. Experience in inpatient care and/or home healthcare is a merit. A valid driver's license is required. Your Competencies We would like you to work according to a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what you start, and meet deadlines. That you are confident in uncertain situations, stand up for your own opinions, have the courage to speak up, and can distinguish between the issue and the person. That you adapt and find win-win solutions through a pragmatic focus on the common goal and that you find quick solutions to emerging problems. You should be flexible in your thinking, solution-oriented, and enjoy development and digitalization of healthcare. What We Offer We offer a permanent full-time position, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may apply. Working hours are initially scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts, but as operations scale up, night shifts may also be possible by agreement. Recruitment is ongoing. • Orientation consisting of both clinical and theoretical sessions tailored individually for 2-5 weeks. Part of the orientation is conducted at inpatient wards in surgery, urology, or infectious diseases depending on your prior experience in these areas. • We apply healthy scheduling with a focus on recovery. Day shifts start at 07:30 in the morning and evening shifts end at 21:30. • An inpatient care supplement of 2000 kr/month for a 100% position is provided in addition to base salary, and a rotation supplement is provided for night shifts. • Opportunities for rotation within other inpatient wards are available based on your preferences.
