We are now seeking a nurse for care ward 25, which is part of the psychiatric clinic in Norrköping. We provide inpatient care specializing in affective disorders and self-admission (SJ) cases. The ward is located at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping. Our patients are primarily citizens of Norrköping, Söderköping, Finspång, and Valdemarsvik municipalities. Job Description As a nurse with us, you have independent and responsible work with supportive colleagues around you, where you hold the leadership function on your shift. Together with physicians, nursing assistants, and social workers on the ward, each of you contributes your equally important perspective to offer our patients high-quality care. Our combined competencies and experiences provide a good overall picture of each patient, and we also learn from one another. We help patients both somatically, psychiatrically, and psychosocially, and our collaborative treatment work provides the best outcome for the patient. Your daily work includes patient meetings involving assessments, specimen collection, medication management, and supportive/advisory conversations, where you as a nurse work with the team to plan and follow up on the patient's treatment. Contact with family members and the patient's broader network is a recurring part of the work for all staff members on the unit. About You We are seeking a registered nurse, with or without experience. If you have specialist training in psychiatry, this is a merit but not a requirement. To be considered for this position, you need good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as you will have extensive contact with patients, family members, and care partners, as well as document in our digital patient record system.
