Registered Nurse Needed for Assignment in Surgery, Orthopedics, and Urology Are you a registered nurse who thrives in a varied inpatient care environment with both planned and acute operations? We are now seeking licensed registered nurses for an extended assignment within a surgical and medical care unit during fall 2026. About the Assignment You will work on a care unit with varying patient flow across several different care areas. The operations combine acute and planned care and offer a broad and developmental assignment. Patient groups may include: Surgical patients Orthopedic patients Urological patients Medical care needs within inpatient settings Typical duties include: Patient care for hospitalized patients Medication management Documentation and patient assessments Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team Planning and follow-up of patient care Work Environment You work together with nursing assistants, physicians, and other professionals in an operation where flexibility, collaboration, and patient safety are central aspects of the work. Period & Scope Period: weeks 36–49 Scope: approximately 810 hours Working hours according to schedule; day/evening/night shifts and weekends may occur We Are Looking for You Are a licensed registered nurse Have experience from inpatient care Are confident in independent assessments and prioritization Have good collaboration skills and work in a structured manner Thrive in an operation with varying patient flow Meritorious: Experience in surgery, orthopedics, or urology Experience in acute care Experience with electronic medical record systems in inpatient settings Requirements Before Presentation The following documents need to be available before presentation: Updated CV CPR training for adults Two current references from your most recent assignments or employments What VårdIX Offers At VårdIX, we work with transparent communication, clear terms, and close contact throughout the assignment.
