A nurse at Norlandia Elder Care is a valuable key person, and we're looking for you – someone skilled in your professional role who enjoys meeting people in different situations. The licensed nurse's specific competence is nursing care. This encompasses both the scientific knowledge area and patient-centered work based on a humanistic view of people. You are responsible for ensuring that our residents' healthcare and medical care needs are met. You work with care in everything you do with great personal responsibility and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial cooperation are of great importance in this role. We currently have approximately 10 standby nurses. Standby work means you are responsible for our 8 elderly care facilities in Västerås. You work from home, where you have your work bag with phone and computer. You respond to questions by phone or visit a facility for intervention/assessment. Work shifts are planned and booked in our shared Teams app. Work shifts are evenings 16-21 and weekends 7-12 or 12-16. Night shifts may occur 21-07. A valid driver's license is required for this position. About our elderly care facilities Norlandia operates 8 elderly care facilities under contract with the City of Västerås: Hagaäng, Fatburen, Daggrosen, Hökåsen, Vedbo, Mälarhem, and Ängsklockan. They include both somatic and dementia care units, distributed across the facilities.
